Tails of Hope
My rescue journey began in 2010, after I lost my dog Snickers to pancreatitis at just 7 years old. Heartbroken, I rescued seven dogs in his honor, and through this work, I discovered my true passion: helping dogs not just survive, but thrive.
In 2012, I adopted Chloe, a 2-year-old abandoned dog facing euthanasia. She became my loyal companion and the mascot of my rescue journey. That same year, through volunteer work fostering and rehabilitating dogs, I opened K9 Sanctuary, a home-based boarding and foster facility where many dogs stayed with me before finding their forever homes.
By 2017, I joined a group rescuing dogs from the meat trade in China, helping bring them to the U.S. and supporting their rehoming in Los Angeles and Orange County. COVID paused much of that work, but I never stopped being involved in the community, always rehoming, advocating, donating, and educating.
In 2023, when Chloe became seriously sick and dehydrated, I realized dogs needed a better solution. I didn’t set out to start a business, I just fell into it—much like I did with K9 Sanctuary.
